Why Choose Logi Transports? Need dry van or reefer capacity? Logi Transports brokers Road Freight Transport across the U.S.

Dry Van Freight

Dry vans protect non-perishable freight from weather and road debris. We arrange enclosed capacity for freight that can dock-load, including:

  • Protection from Elements: Our dry vans provide a complete enclosure, safeguarding your freight against weather, theft, and damage. Ideal for electronics, household goods, and automotive parts.
  • Cost-Effectiveness: With standard equipment and carrier availability, dry van shipping is often more economical.
  • Flexibility in Shipment Sizes: Whether you require full truckload (FTL) or less-than-truckload (LTL), we adapt to your cargo volume.

Reefer (Temperature-Controlled) Freight

For perishable or temperature-sensitive freight, we arrange reefer trailers set to your required range:

  • Temperature Control: Advanced refrigeration units keep temperatures between -65°C to 40°C, perfect for pharmaceuticals, fresh produce, and dairy.
  • Security and Efficiency: Enhanced security features ensure your goods are protected from spoilage or damage.
  • Expertise in Cold Chain Logistics: Our team understands the nuances of cold chain, ensuring your products are handled correctly throughout their journey.

Freight Transport:
Dry Van

Dry vans and reefer trailers for Freight Transport Companies are basically the same trailer but one has an AC unit attached to the front for keeping freight that needs to be kept cold or frozen at the temperature it requires.
While not fancy this very widely used trailer can still haul an awful lot of different types of items. Typically used for freight and palleted items that can be forklifted or pallet jacked on and off via a dock.
Standard 48ft Dry Vans are all the same 4ft deck height so they can utilize the docks at freight terminals and warehouses they can haul up to 40000lbs without weight permits.

Freight Transport Companies:
Reefers

Dry vans and reefer trailers are basically the same trailer. One has an AC unit attached to the front for keeping freight cold. Some needs to be kept cold or frozen at the temperature it requires for freight transport.
The freight and boxed goods workhorse of the industry. You can see them at every super market or big box store backing up to their docks for unloading. Like the standard flatbed they also have a 4ft deck height for the docks. Their lengths vary a little from trailer to trailer, but usually have the same 40000lbs weight limit.
Dry vans are sometimes converted to enclosed car trailer or for other specialized uses.
